How do i open a downloaded ringtone?

As the title goes how do i do this? I was bought a samsung ZV10 and when registering on line for the credit i decided to download a ringtone. I sent a text and received back 3 texts all the same that make no sense to me, just random letters and exclamation marks, has anyone got any idea what i do next. :eek: Thanks PUZZLED.
