Have you ever had one of those moments where your convinced some deity or voodoo doctor or occult person is purposely f*cking with your life. That too many coincidences and bad luck has happened to you.

At the moment i very much believe that.

Let me take you back 2 weeks (SFX)

My major project, the biggest piece of my course is due in 2 weeks (friday in now time) i've completely finished the project ahead of scheduale and i'm psyched cause everything about it is working perfectly. Only bit left is this write up worth 20-30% that i need to do. 2 weeks more then enough time for it.

Disaster 1: At the beginning of week 1 my computer dies, no problem dropped it down to shop, told me to call back on wednsday to pick it up.

Disaster 2: come back wednsday computer is seriously f*cked and numerous expensive parts need replacement. Computer wont be ready till friday.

Disaster 3: Empty wallet forced onto a bag of chips and batter sausage diet. pick up my fixed computer, still doesnt work. fiddle with it all friday night to no success.

Disaster 4: Finally fixed computer but somehow while i was trying to fix it...i picked up the flu ???(wtf) resulting in me being bed ridden

    sunday
    monday
    tuesday
    and most of today.

Now my computer working...the flu in retreat i can start my write up...but due to the flu keeping me up all of last night and the night before i dont have the energy to write any more then the 300 words.

Disaster 5: The plan is sleep well, and work all of thursday to hand the essay in friday morning. BUT...here i am still awake? why? Cause some goddamn piece of unknown but really irritating crap is stuck in my right eye and all i have tried to get it out has failed leaving me in a moranic state of drooling and awake. picking at my right eye trying to get this crap out.

I have never felt so crazy in my life. Some bitch has me under a voodoo doll or something cause this is too much at the same time.

Or else its karma, which isnt fair. cause i worked my ass off on this project, and thats just not the right sort of thing for karma to f*ck with.

Hate to be a pedant but it's fate, not faith. Agree with ya though there are times when everything seems to go wrong. That's why I can't believe in karma, because 99% of the time these things are totally undeserved. I guess that's why they say that life's a bitch.

 you must be a very, very bad person! :) Maybe someone has cast some sort of spell on you or something. Fate had been with me since I moved to America, but lately not so good :(

i think its all to do with frame of mind. If you believe bad things are going to happen to you, they usually will. Like if I sit down to a game of poker and I tell myself my chances of winning aren't great, i'll probably lose within a few hands.

I'm guessing you got the flu because you let your body run down sitting at the computer trying to fix it. You probably won't notice it but if you sit at a computer for more than a few hours, your body temp will drop leaving you open to getting the flu, and if you stay up late into the night as well it can run down your immune system. Stress weakens your immune system as well.

Adopt the "que sera sera" attitude, and things should always be alright. Not because the same bad things will happen to you, but because when they do it won't stress you or make you negative which has the domino effect of causing more bad things to happen in your life.
