Has anyone spotted any good deals on a decent backpack that would fit a laptop plus power cable, and an A4 folder etc? Something with plenty of space and a few pockets basically.

Im after the bag for college stuff but the old mini hiking rucksack just isnt up to the task!

    Cheers!

Well, its past midnight so it's actually today.:)

They're probably far too big for you though

im going to pimp the patagonia bag one more time! i have had it for 3 weeks and honestly its the best choice i have ever made regarding bags!

    http://www.patagonia.com/za/PDC?OPTION=PRODUCT&merchant_rn=7385&cgrfnbr=500994&sku=48855&ws=false&promo_cat=&promo_cat_id=

has a padded area for laptop, 2 big compartments, and a small zip at the front for pens and other crap. you would never know theres a laptop inside! if you have a larger screen you might need the large version of the bag. i have a 13.3 screen and it fits in snugly!

This, from Dell, nearly 56 euro, but well worth it

Use it every day for college, big enough for my laptop, power supply and 2 or 3 A4 pads.
Plenty of room for other bits as well.

I have this but don't use it for a laptop. It's made for cycling so it's very comfortable and secures well on your back. There is a removeable laptop pouch which is well padded and a host of other features.
Delivery is free and it's a great website so don't worry about that.
If you would like any more pics or whatever of the bag let me know, the description isn't that great.

I'm suprised no one mentioned Crumpler bags. There's a wide variety of them, a few especially made for laptops. They're really well made and look nice too.

Also, have a look at http://www.techair.co.uk. Bought one for a friend from that website. Arrived inside a week. Little on the pricey side but well worth it. Good build quality and very cool!

Doh.. No PowerCity in the South East. Then again, we barely have roads.
