Whats a good time to take the classic out for the summer, I had paddies weekend in mind, then easter, I've gone though the may bank holiday, do I decided that it will be the june bank holiday

Anyone got any specific method of deciding when to take out the classic, weather, time....?

In a way I'm glad my car isn't "show" quality so I can drive it all year round. It would grieve me to have to leave it in a garage for half the year.

The weather for the last 3 weeks or so has been great for the most part. The roof started coming down in March.

All year round, however, road must be bone dry and no sign of rain. Only came out a few times over winter. Been out loads recently (relatively speaking).

Fiat 850 gets regular use, even took it on snow for a laugh, super reliable just gets serviced.

Triumph 2000 rarely gets driven, and when it does it breaks down:mad:

Brother's Kadett was off the road for ages, now every time he brings it out something goes awry, every piece of rubber on it is perished.

Other brother has a rough looking Wolsleley Hornet, burns oil like mad but has never let him down, gets driven once a week or so.

Every day now. It was about 3 times a week, but she's since been promoted to my main form of transport. Like Blue850 - super-reliable because it is in use. Well, until some halfwit left the lights on all day :o
