Guys, I see they are advertising the cheap season ticket up until the end of May as usual.Only difference this time is that there is a clear statement on the add (Channel 480) stating that this offer WILL NOT be repeated.Anyone have any thoughts on this. i.e. is it best to book now or wait until August:(

Well if the games are anything like this season's (we decided not to bother after seeing the fixture list - despite having ordered the 2 years previously) then I wouldn't worry to much... most people won't buy until they see what's gonna be on, so the numbers will be low thus forcing Sky to "extend" the offer into the summer.

I similarily didn't bother this season. Didn't feel I missed much. The fixtures won't be released until June/July, so I think they are covering their asses on this.

Hmm, is it possible to subscribe to Prem Plus now, while I still have Sky Sports, then cancel Sky Sports later? :)

Seems like a good enough deal - UK£50/€70 for 50 games! Actually, the ROI offer is better considering the current exchange rate.

    Christ, no. This is Sky!

If you cancel Sky Sports, you lose your Prem Plus season ticket.

I've had the old season ticket for the last 3 years and have to say that a lot of the games are crap. But out of the 50 on offer you will find about 20 that are watchable.

Now if you watch those 20 games and you are paying €70 total it works out around €3.50 per (watchable)game which is a lot cheaper than paying for them individually.

Im off to order the season ticket now.

Offer won't be repeated.......Bullsh1t imho. They will be plugging it at that price right up into July. I wouldn't buy until the fixture list is confimed, not going to waste €70 on a line up of crap games.

Will Prem Plus stay on air considering that Sky only won 4 out of the 6 premier league packages for next season. Setanta won the other 2

The new contract is for 3 seasons from 2007/8 and doesn't effect the season starting this coming August (2006/7) The old contract stands, so Prem Plus will show the current offer for the forthcoming season.
