Anyone else get the text alert? It mentions a freeroll before the main event. What's the story here? Fintan?

I got that, they run a freezeout at 7 and the winner is free into the main event at 8.

No money but time (normally I've got money but no time lol), so I went there.

Any tournament starting at 7pm that must be finished before 8pm is going to be...uhm...fast. So a freeze-out with 2,500 starting chips and 4 minute blinds starting at 25/50 isn't bad at all. The nice people of Pokerevents actually gave a ticket to both the winner and the runner up, so no heads-up play required either. Also it was a true freeroll, so no reg. It was fun, I enjoyed it and when I've got time I'll go again. Its a fun format I can recommend to all playing in the regular game, as a warmup or to get rid of your tilt-urges. ;) And if you're lucky you play the main event for free. Fantastic!
