Mouse and keyboard response times on FPS's

    Hi, any help on this would be great.

    I've recently started playing UT2004 again, but am having problems with my mouse and keyboard responding slowly. The game would play as usual all around me, but my controls would stick. Only for a few seconds mind, then they'd catch up with where I'm pointing. It's a bit of a pain in the rear. This happens online.

    It also seems to happen on G.R.A.W (Single player Only), which I've installed recently. (It was happening on UT2004 before the new install) My drivers are all up to date and UT2004 are patched . Other game genres such as RTS's (AoE3 and Star Wars, Empire at Wat) all run fine.

    USB Device Creative USB Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX

    Intel Pentium 4, 3000 MHz (15 x 200)
    System Memory 1024 MB (DDR SDRAM)
    DirectX 4.09.00.0904 (DirectX 9.0c)
    Keyboard Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard
    Mouse HID-compliant mouse
    Eircon BB, 2mb down - 128k up
