Constant blame put on money and complaints "now we have money"

I have been listening to the radio today and noticed the constatnt blame being put on that ireland now has money. Every single natural and normal change in society is blamed on the fact Ireland now has money.
THe other thing is if something isn't working the cry "now that we have money"why can't they pay for this or that" comes out.

It is like people forget or can't comprehend that years of underfunding cannot be fixed instantly.

Ireland has a huge history of social problems regardless of money I don't think these problems disappear.

The other strange thing is conditions that could be blamed on money don't get blamed, traffic, property prices etc...

Is it just me or am I completly out of whack with reality.

It's the latest cliché. I agree with you, though - it is very annoying to hear.
