They are obviously wrong. But just out of interest, what shape does chamlis think the earth is? If you don't wish to answer thats fine. Pighead will understand.

Q: "Why do the all the world Governments say the Earth is round?"
    A: It's a conspiracy.

Q: "What about NASA? Don't they have photos to prove that the Earth is round?"
A: NASA are part of the conspiracy too. The photos are faked.

Q: "Why has no-one taken a photo of the Earth that proves it is flat?"
A: The government prevents people from getting close enough to the Ice Wall to take a picture."

Q: "How did NASA create these images with the computer technology available at the time?"
A: Since NASA did not send rockets into space, they instead spent the money on developing advanced computers and imaging software instead

Q: "What is the motive behind this conspiracy?"
    A: The motive is unknown.

Q: "How are the world governments organised enough to carry out this conspiracy?"
A: They only appear to be disorganised to make the conspiracy seem implausible.

    Q: "What's underneath the Earth?"
A: This is unknown. Some believe it to be just rocks, others believe the Earth rests on the back of four elephants and a turtle.

    Q: "What about time zones?"
A: The sun is a spotlight which shines light on a concentrated area, so not everywhere on Earth will be lit at once.

Q: "How come the travel time by air from South America to New Zealand, via the polar route, is SHORTER than the travel time going North first and then South again?"
A: (Presumed answer: The airline pilots are misled by their GPS, or are deliberately conspiring to make it appear that the flights take different times)

:D Anything they can't explain is a conspiracy.

Pyramid shaped of course! Those Egyptians knew what was going on, I tell thee! And the bottom has Dinosaurs and, and stuff!

Just as I suspected, you don't really know what shape the earth is either. As my Mothers cousin used to say "Mock not they who know as much as you."

I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss them. ON a human scale the earth is approximately flat.

Having Flown Concorde from London to New York, I can confirm to ye doubters that the world is indeed round, As Concorde used to fly a fair bit higher that other commercial jets you can see the earths curvature. I could kinda make it out over the Mid-Atlantic last year half way to New York. It was hard to see as their was fair cloud cover below the plane.

Then Again perhaps we were brainwashed before boarding. Better bring my trusty Tin-Foil hat next time i fly, Any ideas for getting it through the Airport Security Metal Detectors.

He said "last year" but maybe I'm picking something up wrong I dunno. Maybe he flew commercial and could still see it or something. Anyway, moving on...

I think netwhizkid is in on the "round earth" conspiracy.

I flew Concorde in 2000, British Airways & Air France used to do it IIRC. I Flew BA anyway. I could very easily make out the curvature from Concorde as it flew much higher than other Civilian Aircraft of it's time.

I flew Aer Lingus from Shannon last year (to NYC also) and was also just able to identify the curvature on one those Airbuses. The Concorde was class, I was just turned 13 and was the envy of me school mates at the time, Anyway it's gone from service now but I will have memories. The only thing bad about it was it was very expensive meaning most people couldn't have flown on it. I can't remember exactly how much it cost but it was a few thousand anyway. I saw the other night that a supersonic Private Jet will be released so maybe more people might get a chance to go that high and fast. I think my father took photo's of out the window so I will root around and see if I can find any with the Curvature in it.

Class. I'd say Concorde was some experience. Hopefully we'll see something similar in years to come.
