Bought a Creative Zen 40GB from Boards a couple of months ago.

Working fine til recently, battery life good etc.

Now it won't power on at all. I can use it via USB OK.

Any ideas? Could it be the battery? Does the battery 'go' all of a sudden like that?

Any advice greatly appreciated. I tried a search, but couldn't find anything relevant.

I wouldn't immagine the battery could just 'go' that fast. It's probably more like a connection problem. Is it the touch or the older model? If it's the latter then the first thing I'd do is take off the cover and check to see is the battery loose. Not sure but I don't think the cover comes off the touch.

Have you reset the player (place a pin in the reset swich)?
If this does not work, upgrade the Firmware.

If this not work you mayhave to send back to Creative for repair.
