    I cant find this on play.com ?

    Is it not out on region 2 DVD ?


    or has it been removed as they are soon releasing a spec. ed ?

    There is a never before seen definitive special edition that was made in 2001, but was never released due to leagal complications that still go on to this day.

    I have a Region 1 copy of the Directors Cut, but it really isn't a great DVD.. poor transfer and no features.

    Great film though... and I do prefer the Directors Cut myself.

    I'd say HD and Blu Ray will be in full swing before we see the release of the special edition though.

    eBay is pretty much your only chance to pick up a copy of the Directors Cut these days.

    I've got a region 2 directors cut, no features - same as the R1 I think.

    Bought it a long time ago, may well be out of print by now.

    I have the special edition dvd boxset which was on play.com a good while ago (not available any more). It came with a few things like the screenplay, a poster, a few cards etc. It doesnt have any special features on the dvd though. It cost a good bit as well.

    The directors cut version is on amazon.com for about $10 :
