Mini Discs To P.c

    i have hundreds of live concerts on mini disc,but i would like to know if it is possible to load them on to my p.c. just to file and organise them properly .I have Sony lissa separates sound system which has i-link connections does anyone know if this is possible. the i-link connections are 4pin if that means anything.the stereo system is about 6 years old but its a high end sony product

    you would think there would be a drive that exists for md's, but i dont think there is one. I googled around and found this here. The link says out of stock, but Im sure you can find it elsewhere. hope that helps.

    i-link is just Sony's name for Firewire. You should be able to pick up a Firewire PCI card for your Pc for about €25 or so if you don't already have Firewire on it.

    Or you could just do a straight recording from Mini Disc to PC through the audio jacks.
