Visa For Taiwan???

Just wondering do i need a visa when i go to Taiwan this summer? Checked and it said 30 day stay or less i don't need a visa. Can someone confirm this for me?? Also anyone ever been to Taiwan? If so what did you think. Its my first visit there as my girlfriend is from there.

From what I understand, you will not need a visa if you have an Irish passport. You should get 30 days of visa free stay.
