    hi, i want to take screenshots of a website page that has a scrollbar on it, if i do it by hitting the print screen button i only get the active part of the screen, that screenshot method doesn't capture what is on the remainder of the page (i.e. the part of the site that you need to scroll down to see)

    So my question is...How do i take a screenshot of the entire page and not just what is viewable?

    you could try a print preview and then print it to adobe pdf? (I think it gets installed when you install acro reader)

    Take multiple shots and join them together over multiple layers in an image editing program. You can buy software that does it for you but I've never found any all that good.

    thanks for the replies but there must be an easier way to do it. I tired using the zoom function within Opeara to zoom out to about 60% and then take the screenshot but it totally messes up the resolution.

    Increase your screen resolution until the scroll bars disappear.

    Buy a monitor with a massive resolution, or hook up multiple montiors. Then you can screengrab the whole desktop. Gonna be expensive though. :D Takes 2 mins to do it in a image editor. Why do you need it? If its too print you are going to need an image editor to print it anyway.

    I googled "jpg entire webpage" and it was one of the links.

    SnagIT - Input->Advanced->Custom Scroll

    Hit Ctrl+Shift+P

    Drag a box over the area you want to capture inlcuding the scrollbar.

    Click on the scroll button once it will then auto scroll the entire page when it gets to the end it will pop up with the captured area from the scroll window.
