I'm abandoning my other system in favour of this. I'm going to store my progress in an excel sheet which I will attach to this thread. I don't have time today to post the reasons for the selections.

Typical, when I post it here it goes tits up. Missing Bollin Thomas today just explains what kind of day it was. 2 unplaced and 2 seconds.

Angus Newz runs today in the 4.30 at Bath and is currently trading at 6/1. It's a drop in trip which should suit, however Angus Newz is up against it today in this class 1 and will probably find one or two too good for it. I've done a small each way bet as I expect it to be placed.

Finished just out of the placings. I was impressed with Sierra Vista. Into the notebook she goes.

Two selections so far today. Saif Sareea in the 7.30 at Musselburgh. I've tipped it twice before. It won quiet well last time out, and should do the same again today. Conditions suit it perfectly and it's not really up against anything major which is why it is 4/7.

When looking at the 7.25 at Tipp Raise Again sticks out like a sore thumb. This is a dodgy card to say the least, and the obvious danger is coming from Hophill Dancer. Raise Again is up in the weights but it shouldn't be a problem as the distance and the ground suit. Currently trading at 7/2.

Think your safe enough to discount Hophill Dancer from this, I can't see it been close but there are plenty of outsiders that could surprise:eek: . Good Luck.

Saif Sareea wins by 5 lenghts. Asides from the bets I did on these two horses I also had a forecast on Saif Sareea first, Polish Power second which has paid off. That was outside of this system, however.

Raise again 725 in Tipp, was shaping up nicely, positioned nicely on the turn went away nicely 2 furlongs out was quickening nicely begining to stretch the field without storming away and then those two other horses finish like the rest are standing still Famous Seamus etc. Raise tried to battle but the other two were just traveling too quickly.

Did they have any form/quality? or was it the usual 'any nag can hack up in Irish racing' deal again?

Quality race from Saif Sareera, and Polish Power can turn in a stong effort on turf as well, one for the notebook.

It was a mad race alright Corben. The eventual winner looked like it had buckets left in it and was definately being held back until the end. It was a Mullins horse too IIRC.

Joueur D'Estruval runs again today, along with Adamant Approach. I'm not at home yet and I'm using Linux so I'm not prepared to install OpenOffice to change the Excel sheet. I've put 10 euro e/w on Joueur D'Estruval at 8/1. I'll update the sheet when I get home. It's running in the 3.45 at Killarney. The ground should not be an issue as it has proven itself over both good and soft ground.

I'm still in Linux so I can't update the excel sheet properly. My horse tracker tells me that both Bollin Thomas and Ryder's Storm run tomorrow. I'm going to put a 5 euro win on both selections. I missed Bollin Thomas lto when it won at 8/1, and Ryder's Storm has being doing great lately as we all know.

Polish Power out again today in Newcastle at 2.20. 10/1 generally and Pighead could be tempted with an each way flutter. 15 runners which is a bit of a sickener.

Polish Power wins at 11/1. Great improving form behind it's last run. I hope you got on Pighead. I got it at 9s earlier today and took 9s which is a pity. I didn't stick it in this system though - which I should have! The trainer's first win at Newcastle too.

Not a bean on it. Couldn't get out of damn work. Ah well have North Fleet in the next at Brighton at 12's. Its 8's now and a pretty decent poster on another forum i read seems quite bullish about its chances. C'mon the North Fleet! Make the Polish Power pain go away.

He was given one of the best rides I've seen in a while by Shane Kelly.

I didn't see it myself. I was too occupied with the Munster game. I expected this horse to come on and when it does I don't back it. Typical! :o
