Where is a cheap place to get B&W enlargements (16x 20) printed in Dublin ? - I used to use Learys in Ranelagh. Conns seems very expensive.

And while I'm at it good recommendations for C41 B&W developing & printing ? Who is the best on the web that posts to Ireland ?

    Thanks

Does no one use regular SLR anymore or not print photos ?

Surely you can't all be developing and printing your own ?

it's so rare, nowhere is very cheap anymore
gunns on wexford st is good, c41 can be done anywhere well, if their colour work is good, their c41 work should be as good

While cost is a factor, most people do their own B&W for quality reasons.

Whynot join The Gallery of Photography in Temple Bar for 40 euro per year, a three hour session in their darkroom is 15.00 euro and buy a box of paper.
They also do a course on developing and printing.

I develop b&w film at home (which is easy with a little practice and cheap), then use a negative scanner and print using inkjet (so no need for darkroom).

If you shoot B&W probably cheapest to dev and print yourself. Local camera club or Gallery of photography worth checking out for starter course and facilities. A bathroom without a window or attic probably easiest location to set up in. Did once have a darkroom in a large built in wardrobe.

As an alternative if you just want a print try http://www.hettysdarkroom.com/
Haven't used her myself, but tends to win black and white printing awards.
