Thank god, those do nothing for me. :D

I really want to avoid GAS as best I can, and I'm not really looking at any basses these days.

You know, speaking of GAS, the Schecter C7 Blackjack is looking very appealing lately.

Anywho, guitars that really make me sit back and go "Wow! I'd love one of those!" would be seriously, way out of my price range. Blackmachine and Abyss guitars are definetly doing it for me.

Abyss do quite possibly the most appealing Les Paul and PRS style guitars I've ever seen:

They do 7 Strings aswell, so they are very, very appealing. The $7000 price tag, however is not. Something I'd only buy if I won the lotto, I think.

Blackmachine guitars are fairly hot aswell. They don't use any paint, so it's all nicely finished wood. They're really meant to sound amazing, but they certainly look the business too, and have one of the coolest headstocks I've ever seen:

They even do 8 string models:

But again, I think pricing is something like £2000, so those are still way out of my league unless I ever strike it rich.

Still though, nice to drool over! :D

There's something about the bodies on those Schecters that put me off. The basses the Doc posted however... *fap fap fap fap*

Whoops, I just noticed typed Schecters. No those guitars (which aren't Schectors) aren't doing much I'm afraid. Just look a little dull and lifeless. Although I say if I saw them in real life (if such a thing exists) I wouldn't say no.

What?!? You're pulling my apendages man! Those guitars are possibly the most magnificent examples of nicely finshed quilt maple in existance, and you call them dull and lifeless?

I'm actually going to see how much one would cost built to my specifications. It's probably going to be extraordinate, but hell, they look far far swisher than those Conklins tbh. Anywho, a price quote wouldn't hurt.

I'm just not a fan of quilt maple. It just reminds me of coffee tables.

    Ah, I love quilt.

Anywho, in a fit of manic GAS, I just asked for quotes on 2 guitars from Abyss. Both quilt tops of course. :D

Having just spent the day studying addiction for my finals, I can safely say your GAS fits with the other case studies :)
