Players in Cork?

Just wondering if there are any players in Cork. I used to play Magic all the time but I couldn't afford to for ages. I have a job now so I'll be able to play it again...just, I don't know who to play it with...the only two people I know who play it (and live in Cork) are both my exes. I'll only have old cards at the start but I'll catch up. I'm not great at the game but I do enjoy it alot.

There's a gaming shop in cork called Other Realms where i think they hold magic events on weekends. www.otherrealms.com for more info. If you want to make the trip to dublin they hold sealed events here fairly regularly.

Oh I know Other Realms really well...the thing is...most players I see in there are at least three years younger than me....and wear school uniforms (could be due to when I go in to the shop). I have no problem with playing with people younger than me, I just don't know if they'd have a problem with me.

Hrmmm i thought there were quite a few people aged 20+ playing in cork. I'll ask some cork people next time i see them at a magic event in dublin. Maybe the bus to dublin is your only option :s

I can barely afford the bus fare to Cork, hahaha. I guess I'll just have to wait and see instead of trying to find any players.

Try asking on the irl_magic_list on yahoo groups. Most of the older generation of cork players can be found there.
