I notice that BBC Parliament and BBCi 8 and BBCi 9 have moved from Astra 2D 10847V to Astra 2A 11954H. Any reasons for this? I thought the BBC wanted all its channels on 2D? The signal for these channels on 2A doesn't seem to be as strong as to where it was on 2D.

This is probably miles out as I havent got a clue why they have moved but could bbc be freeing up these frequencies for world cup hd tests. (just guessing).

Thats probably accurate, they've cleared off a full transponder on 2D - which they'll definately want to have their HD on for legal reasons.

Thanks for that - I used to watch BBC Parliament and like having it under my 'Other Channels' list (Sky Digital).

I programmed it in under the following:

    Frequency: 11954 GHz
    Polarisation: Horizontal
    Mbaud: 27.5
    FEC: 7/8

...but what are the other signals there? 'T4 STRM-0' appears to be a mosaic of BBC channels (?).

T4-STRM-(0|1) are the multiscreens for news and similar BBCi content. Each screen has its own audio, which an FTA box can swap through but a Sky box can't - except via BBCi.

Actually It would make a lot of sense for the Beeb to move News 24, Parliament, Most of its radio services and interactive stuff onto 2A and free up capacity on 2D for
    1) HDTV
    2) Releasing some capacity for use by Channels 4 and 5 in the event of them going FTA

There are a lot of Encrypted channels taking up space unnecessairly on 2D which I suspect is down to B$kyB's dirty tricks department wanting to frustrate any future switch by Channels 4 and 5 to FTA

I tried tuning it in now with your co-ordinates, (which are right because Lyngsat have the same ones posted up)

Is it taken down again, I just get no signal found on my Grundig box, Also BBC Parliament is giving me there is a problem with this channel try later, as I have it tuned in already on my old coordinates. Is it just my box or is it system wide. ??
