Here's one I took this evening... unfortunately I just realised when I checked the Exif Data that I still had my camera on ISO 800 from the last time I used it.... :( I was already wondering why my shutterspeeds were so quick!! Ah well...that'll teach me for next time. Anyway, the grain doesn't seem to be so bad:

Maybe a bit more contras Dimy, just so much that there's solid blacks between the reflections of the sun, and following that, I think a black border would suit perfectly!

Hmm..and I was already thinking I did a little bit of overkill on the contrast! :) Let me edit it a little... I did a quicky on this one! ;)

Excellent! There's that little extra bit of 'umph' in it!

Haha, I can see that title becoming commonplace! 3rd time is it? :D

Deadly! Leaving the ISO set is a thing I keep doing but I have no problem with noise in a pic. And I can't see any here anyway.

Yep jarred again after our second last night of the cuckoo's nest.

Yeah the Canon's are pretty good at high ISO's. You can see the noise in the original size, but still not too distracting. I still have to go through my other pictures from yesterday, just did a quick edit on this one as I think it's the nicest of the series... but who knows what else pops up after editing! :D If there's anything worthy to post on boards i'll do just that

RE ISO, in Amateur Photographer this month, there's a test between the noise of the 350D, Olympus E-500 and Sony Cybershot, the Canon comes in miles ahead at 1600ISO, the difference is actually unreal!

And yup. I always forget to reset the ISO until AFTER that vital shot... And grain comes out horrible when your using a wide angle lens...

Love the contrast. Nice texture in the foreground too, and great interesting sky. Sorry nothing more constructive to say...
