    Hi all,
We had a 1-year-old cat who vanished about three weeks ago, thought he would return but didn't.
He was well cared for and a semi-family pet but an outdoor cat, great for mice etc. So we;re looking for a replacement. We have asked a lot of people already and tried catadoption and ispca & shelters, but no result as yet. can anyone help?

Have you put up posters for your lost cat and searched around eg garages, small areas, asked neighbours etc? He may still return he could be caught someone or be injured they dont usually just dissapear unless someone thought he was a stray and took him into their house which can happen.
If you are getting a new cat have you contacted kitten adoption, although I think they only home to indoor homes but that could be an option, indoor cats can be happy and are a lot safer.

Thanks guineapigrescue. Have tried all the neighbours, other estates etc. We have a farm close by and fields full of rabbits, foxes etc. have looked but fear he may have got cought in one of the holes as he brough back lots of rabbits last year.
