Irish Poker Tour Satellites, Letterkenny

    Jools Poker in Letterkenny, Co.Donegal will be running satellites for the Irish Poker Tour's Ulster Cup on May 7th and 14th.

    These will be €50 + €10 reg with one optional re-buy or top-up.

    You can win your way into the Ulster Cup which at €500+€50 entry (on May 19th in the Slieve Russell Hotel Cavan) will have a €70,000 prize-pool.

    The Jools Poker satellite tournaments will take place in Gallaghers Hotel, Upper Main Street, Letterkenny on Sunday the 7th and 14th of May and will start at 8:30pm sharp.

    Julie O'Leary is the tournament director for these events and she is a very capable referee.

    I've played in a couple of Jools Poker's events and the atmosphere is fantastic as well as being professionally run.

    They are self dealt tournies and 100% prize-pool payout (of course).

    1. Who is running the event (organisation, society etc.)- Jools Poker
    2. The purpose of the event (charity, commercial etc.)- To qualify for the Irish Poker Tour Grand Final and win a small fortune (commercial).
    3. Date and Location of event.- Sunday 7th May, Gallaghers Hotel, Upper Main Street, Letterkenny
    4. Registration and Start time of event. Registration 8:00 Start 8:30pm
    5. Any prerequisites (member of club, society etc)- No
    6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number (in advance, at the door etc.)- Entry fee can be paid on the night, no max
    7. Type of Tournament (Hold'em/Omaha etc Freezeout/Rebuy etc.)- No-Limit Hold’em multiple re-buy tournament.
    8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc.- €50+€10reg, €50 for one re-buy allowed.
    9. Cost of registration- €5
    10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund- 100% prize-pool payout
    11. Any guarenteed prize pool.- No
    12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over what time frame/blind levels.- One re-buy/top-up allowed in first hour.
    13. Starting Chips- a very playable stack (I’m not sure what it will be exactly)
    14. Rebuy and Top-up chip amounts.- a very playable stack (I’m not sure what it will be exactly)
    15. Blind levels- 25-50,50-100,100-200,-200-400 (I’m usually knocked out by this stage so I’m not completely sure what they go up to thereafter, lol)
    16. Blind timeframes- 20 minutes
    17. Places being paid and if any prizes are other than cash (free entry to other tournie, merchandice etc)- credits for IPT tournaments.
    18. Are there going to be dealers - and their level of skill- No, but Julie will deal the final table.
