First hand stt(40/20) 2000 chips each. I’m BB with Ako, 3 callers, 2 b4 button and SB. I call and raise 160. 1 caller b4 button. Flop comes 9h,Kh,Qd. I bet 300 into a 480 pot and am called. Turn comes 5 H. I check and he bets 700 into 1080 pot.

Is this an automatic fold given flush draw on the turn?
Was my preflop raise of 160 too weak?

    Cheers
    WTR

Do you have the ace of hearts? Up to now I think you played the hand well.

i agree. you made it 5 BB to play he shouldn't be in there with muck, and if he had kit a straight, (unlikely) or maybe 2 pair with KQ, then just lay it down and find a better spot.if you have the Ah then you know he cant have the nuts even if you dont so a raise is an option. most likely here id let it go though.

I had no heart. I'm embarrassed to say I called. Flop comes 10. I lay down with my tail between my legs and he shows me J 9

The no. one lesson that I've learned so far is DON'T CALL. BET or FOLD when I have any doubt whatsoever.

    Another interesting hand, I think.
    STT (50/100) I’ve 1770 chips.
I’m on the button 9s7s. 6 players left from 9. 3 callers b4 me. I call . BB calls after me.
    Flop { 6 s 8d 3s)
    Straight draw and flush draw.
2 checks and a bet of 500 b4 me into a 500 pot. Better is big stack with 3850.
Iput him on high pocket pair/AK/AQ
What is my move and why?

this is extreamly good lesson to learn.
calling is not good in most situations.
you either have a good hand where you should bet or dont have a good hand where you should fold.
there are situations where calling is ok but that needs the conditions to be right for it and to be honest thoese situations dont come around too often.
anohter note on SnG when your out of position and you want to raise with a hand that is not made yet you should raise a little more than your standard raise.this kinda of compensates for your bad position.
basically your charging ppl with position more to call.because they have position on you they can call with a wider range of hands but once you make the prise higher then your narrowing that range.
here villain is getting 2:1 oods on his call with great position.also SB would have gotten even better odds to call after the first caller.

Limit poker most lends itself to the raise or fold method.

No Limit poker has many many situations where calling is the best plan.

put it all in here. Calling is also OK. I don't see why you think he should have a big pair or AK or AQ, they would be his least likely hands in my opinion.

Also don't mind the "raise or fold" ideas, yes it is important to be aggressive but there are plenty of spots in any game where calling is best.

What hand would you put him on in this position? AK,AQ are highly unlikely. . High pocket pair?
I mention "raise and fold" in the context of not knowing where I am and having to call a nice bet
