To add channels to your "Other Channels" option, do the following -

With your digibox turned on, press the "Services" button (near the top of the remote).

Select number 4 (System Setup), and then 4 again ("Add Channels").

In the appropriate fields enter the following (you move through the fields using the up and down arrow keys).

In the Frequency field enter: 10.773,

The next three fields are toggle fields, i.e. using the left and right arrows will change the value.

    Toggle Polarisation to : H
    Toggle Symbol Rate to: 22000
    Toggle FEC to : 5/6

Then select the last button - Find Channels.

After a few seconds the channels should appear. The channels on this frequency should be - BBC One London, BBC Two England, BBC News 24, BBC Four, CBBC, CBeebies, BBC Three, BBC One Northern Ireland and BBC Radio Cymru.

Use the Yellow button to place a tick beside each one you wish to store and when you've finished ticking press "Select". These channels will now be stored.

You can view them by pressing the "Services" button, then 6 ("Other Channels"), use the arrow keys to move to the channel you want and press "Select".

    10758V SR 22000 FEC 5/6

ITV1 London, ITV2, Granada TV, Anglia TV East, ITV1 Central West, ITV4

    Double check your settings

thank you for that, i got the bbc channels tuned in perfectly but when i do it for itv nothing appears, it says no channels found!!

No. I keep an eye on Lyngsat regularily to see if there are any changes to any of the frequencies for the sticky that this board provides, and there doesn't appear to be huge differences. (ITV News is gone, a few regions might have swapped)

What could be happening is you might not be getting any vertically polarized transponders, especially low frequencies ones.

If you have a Sky subscription, can you check to see if you can tune into 10876 V, or manually look at FX +2 (Sky channel 180), Sky Travel (253-255) E! (155) or Jetix + 1 (610)

Is it posible that your reciever or LNB is faulty ?

Can you try looking at the overall signal strength, and the signal strength of that transponder?

You can check these be going pressing...

    Services > 4 > 6.

    For the frequency itself,
    Service > 4 > 0 > 1 > Select ... Then 5 (Manual Tuning) and enter the frequencies as before.

On these screens, you will see a bar graph, illustrating signal strength. Tell us what you see...

your gonna find this weird, but i had an old pace digibox i hooked up instead, it wouldnt recognise my card so i rang sky, the customer services guy paired my card to the pace box and now i have all the english channels, 101 is bbc1, 102 is bbc2 and 103 is itv 1 wales and so one, i have the english set up for some reason, i have no irish channels like rte

Probabily temporarily if card not used for a while. Like to revert when the card gets some OTA updates. Sometimes though I think they clink in the wrong boxes on the their system

That happened to a box I was doing last week for my aunt, I was on the phone with the guy during it, I always go to 101 first whenever I use sky and, up came BBC etc. Had sky sports and all and sky movies, as he wanted to check if they paired, then he resent the signal, asked me to put the box in standby for 30 seconds and press Sky and hey presto Rte is back :D
