She will. She probably bitches to her mates every day around the coffee table. She's asking them how to sum up the courage to speak to you about it... how to save the marriage..

I believe it was proved inconclusively, on an AH thread no less, that peeing in the shower is a perfectly acceptable practise. See here.

To answer the original question: No.

it is acceptable, but under special conditions... the urine can not be too coloured as to be noticed against the clear/soapy shower water. So it can easlisy be hidden among the hustle and bustle of the rest tof the water.

And also acceptable if you have a willing partner to piss on.! :D

The real question should be, have you ever washed your hair with handsoap because you forgot(werent arsed) buying shampoo?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,983 ✭✭✭✭Hermione*

No, unless I run out which is rare ... but with five girls sharing my house, the bathroom resembles a small boots there's so much stuff in there!

Yeah sometimes there might be some new product and its just too tempting not to use it...! Only the one time mind you. I wouldnt go using their stuff on a regular basis, thats just mean.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,735 ✭✭✭ST*

I never used anyone elses things, but if I left anything in the bathroom they would use mine. I didn't mind that much, so long as they didn't go crazy with them.

When I was house-sharing, one of the guys stopped me in the hallway after his shower and asked where I had gotten my shower gel . It has been around a while, but still alot of people haven't heard of it. Definitely worth a go ;)

I'd only use my house-mates shower gel/shampoo if I'm stuck for some and haven't made it to the shops.

I think blokes can only get away with this, or girls with really short hair. It would leave your hair all waxy.

I'd use a tiny bit if I ran out (doesn't happen often because I stock up) or if I was staying overnight unexpectedly somewhere. Usually, I like to have shampoo that's adapted for my own type of hair. Shower gel is an extra I can do without most of the time, if necessary.

Yeah - it's horrible. Makes your hair go all squeaky!

I leave my shower gel(great stuff) and shampoo in the shower as a hint for people to use it. I think mine is nicer. ;)

I have an ensuite bathroom and tell everyone that if they are willing to leave bottles of their shampoo and shower gel lying around it I'm more than willing to use them. Otherwise I buy my own.

I don't, because it pisses me off when my housemates use mine. I have extremely sensitive skin and usually have to spend a bit more on decent things, so I'm not just being stingy and depriving them of any old ****e.

However, if I was faced with an emergency such as running out of something (shock, horror!) I would use theirs, tell them about it afterwards, and offer them the use of mine.

No, but I have put shaving foam on my tooth brush before. Too sleepy to notice what I was doing.

To the 42 public voters that have confessed to stealing shower gel from house mates - your names have been taken down and will be passed on to the Gardai in due course :p
