Was supposed to have been Paddys weekend, but drove past it last week, id say in the next few weeks, looks fairly finished to me!

Looks like it will be around 2-3 weeks. The carpark is just about finished but the interior still needs shop fitting, stocking etc. I'll update this if I find out a definite date as I pass it everyday.

The car park is finished (enough for the local skateboarders to use anyway).
The interior is/looks finished (the lights are on every night).

Only stocking up to be done afaik. Waiting to see the large ALDI container trucks off-loading their stock then it shouldn't be that long till opening.:)
    Will keep this thread posted.

It looks like its now full steam ahead. Passed Aldi this morning and it looks like the shopfitters etc. are in. Should be open within the next week or two.

    Had a look this morning,
the electricians are wiring up for the cash tills.
No sign of shelving or stock.
Don't see how they will be opening shortly.

They confirmed that they'd be opening next Thursday. Bit to do alright but I reckon the date will stand.

Very likely. There is nothing else to do in Drogheda. So when is LIDL opening?

Waterford and Drogheda have been the busiest openings for Aldi.
