    I think it's possible to take out a full year and then cancel it and get a refund in six months. The refund will probably be slightly less than six months though.

    Yes you can but unless you get another six months after it to make it a full year you will receive no NCB for it

    Just pay the insurance on the drip and then ring up and cancel after 6 months....
