    Hi,

Can someone please verify if Marco Fu failed to notify of a foul when playing Ken Doherty in the World Championship Quarter Finals. What exactly happened?? Didn't see incident and can find nothing from news reports about the incident.

    Cheers

He didn't cheat Doherty but he DID cheat Stephen Maguire even though he claims he didn't.

I don't know what incident you mean but in the 19th frame (at 9-9), Fu got out of a snooker and hit the pink with the cue. The ref didn't notice and play went on. It was the frame Doherty won after getting 3 snookers so it wouldn't have made a difference to the final outcome.

Referring to that incident when he clipped the pint with the cue while escaping from the snooker, John Parrott reckons that Fu must have noticed himself doing it. In those situtations, the player normally admits to the foul but Fu didn't. It appears that he is not as sporting as other players but I suppose he is right.
It is the referees job to notice these things and Parrott reckons that he should have noticed it. I never saw that referee before. I'm sure that Jan Verhaas would have noticed it. He is the best at the moment.

I missed Michaela Tabb this year, she is hot. I thing she is having a baby and thats why she is not at the championships.

I can see you had something else on your mind while writing this...:D

Hmm strange of Parrot to say that. I remember a good few years ago he was in a snooker tight against the cushion, he tried to get out but missed his target. A miss was called so the referee put it back - but left it a good 7 or 8 inches farther from the cushion, so much so that Parrott could get his hand on the table, he obviously would've noticed, but never said a thing...

It's hard to know whether Fu would've noticed or not, you're supposed to have your eye on the object ball as you strike the cue ball...I'm pretty sure I would've noticed that myself tho...
