The Carlsberg Brwery Tour is free and is open til about 4pm Mon-Fri afaik.

It's in the district of Valby which quite close to the city centre. Only a few minutes on one of the local bus routes.

Apart from that, not much is free/cheap. Stay away from the vastly overpriced Irish bars. Along with a lot of the bars in the main street areas, they are expensive, 7 euro for a pint. If you stray a little from the main areas, you can find beer quite a bit cheaper. Ask around for A-Bar (Australia Bar) and Wall Street. Both are cheapish for Cph and have pool tables if you are into that sort of thing.

The Little Mermaid is crap. Don't worry if you don't see it.

If the weather's good, hit one of Cph's many excellent beaches. :) Plenty to look at. :D

If you're not out too late on the Friday night, get the train over to Malmo on Saturday and have a look around. The train is only about 35 mins from central Cph to central Malmo.

Well, you could into Tivoli Gardens one of the evenings. it's actually not that expensive to just go in and then you get free on to the rides etc, but I think it's quite expensive to eat and drink there.

Don't get me wrong, Cph is a great place, but it can be expensive. Try to avoid using taxis unless you're with a local. Otherwise you'll be ripped off.

I was there last week. I have never seen anything like it, it was like an add for Lynx deoderant.

Everywhere you look there are beautiful women, and absolutley strikingly beautiful. Such friendly people too!

I did learn some Danish. Tak! Everyone speaks English though and wont let you attempt Danish!

i was there last november. lovely spot, little mermaid is well worth a visit, loads of nice parks and stuff up that end of the city as well.
get the water taxi, pretty cool and cheap way to travel.
and bring lots of money, don't think i've ever seen so many cool shops.

oh, and avoid Carlsberg Elephant brew. not cause it's sh1te or anything - its looney juice!
