Any tips before signing contracts

    Hey all,

    We are signing contracts soon - moving in Oct to Charlesland Park - at the very back. At the mo we're doing all the prep for mortgage, contracts etc., there's lotsa helpful info up here by the way, any more tips please send my way!!!

    Just make sure you have morgage approval before you sign the contracts!!

    Have mortgage protection lined up as soon as you can - this is what holds up the vast majority of house purchases (including ours). Check to see if you will need a medical to get the approval, and if that is from a nominated Doctor.

    We used www.LABrokers.ie for our life assurance, would recommend them to anyone - if nothing else, you can get a quote online and go from there.

    make sure snag list all completed as believe you won't get anything done afterwards too easily!
