Love it. Absolutly love it. And it's not often I would say that.

    Remind me of a painting.

Jeez!! Thanks. I thought for a sec my favourite pic was going to decend into the abyss.

Just back after a few pints and taking part in "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" on our local stage where we , ahem, got a standing ovation. I know blowing but the tears were in my eyes and it was amazing. So doubly happy now. Gratias Fajitas.

3 more nights to go. Can't take pics, obviously, so can't put a few up here. Maybe I'll stick a few up fron the rehearsals.

So good it doesn't look real, which is a compliment in itself.

Very clean, very clear, gives a good vibe from just looking at it. Nice one. Did you paint that sky yourself? :p

Hope the head's all right this morning.

I think it's excellent Valentia. Where was the location? The blue of the sky makes it look like somewhere exotic. Or was it Ireland?

A full mornings work after the few last night, The head is sound but how could it not be on a glorious day like today.

Thanks for the comments. The only PP was the Velvia action mentioned in a previous thread. It was taken last year beside the castle when we were rehearsing for a pageant for our summer festival. It's slightly cropped and sharpened.

I promise I will find an alternative to the frame. I usually get a burst after the summer holidays and go through a lot of pics. D'owl life is a bit too busy at other times to mess around with PS so my stuff is usually a few months behind.

nice photo, I don't know if this is taboo asking, but could you post the "un" ps version, purley from a learning perspective.

No problem. Resized and slightly cropped. But no PP. Straight from RAW and no adjustments made there either. The crop is a little different. Quick job! But you can see how all pictures are flat coming straight from the camera. It's a 10D with a Sigma 75-200 I think.

Haha, don't worry about asking for that, photographers usually never have a problem with it. Infact, I usually ask it in college or looking at someones work.

Valentia, if you get a chance, would I be able to get that velvia action off you? Looks like a great tool!

IMHO - the best I've seen on this forum for ages. Great colour, perfect composition. Well done!
Tell me this, what do you do to get the colour so punchy - I've messed around with fairly flat photos like this and never can get the bloody colour as good as this. Any assistance appreciated.
