Might get my Dad one of these.

Anybody got one / can recommend one?

Apart from McGuirks, are there any good shops to have a look at one in Dublin?

Advantages of remote control? They seem a lot more expensive? Double the price?

Many thanks in advance for any help,

    Cheers,

I got my own father one. (A powacaddy freeway I think)

I'll say this. Be wary of the ones that fold up. You are much better off getting the models that you remove the handle from. The folding ones get a bit loose with age.

Woodies and Atlantic are selling one thats advertised on TV priced at 300 euro, don't know if thats expensive for a caddy, btw, looks a lot smaller on the tv ad than it is.

they are all good, but powakaddy is like buying a rolls royce, you can always depend on it. won't let you down.
