Working notice if not being paid

From November 11th to March 28th she was on half pay (it should have been six months but it wasn't) and now she's not being paid at all. What I would like to know is if she should find a job outside of the health…

What I would like to know is if she should find a job outside of the health board(which she may have) is she still required to work her notice period even if she's not being paid at present.
