    10/20 6-max
Villain is pretty tag, but capable of making plays.

I've been limping a few times up front with a variety of hands, and have recently pulled the old limp/reraise move.

    Stacks -
    Me 4.2k
    Villain 3.6k

    Preflop
I limp TT utg, villain makes it 90, one blind calls, I call.

    Flop (280)
    442r
sb checks, I bet 100, villain calls, blind folds

    Turn (480)
    4
    I bet 145, villain makes it 500, I call (???)

    River (1450)
    7
check, villain bets 1200, your move?

I would probably call this. He knows you don't have the four (based on your betting) and is putting you to the test. It looks to me like he decided to call your flop bet in the hope of bluffing you off it on another street and when the third 4 came on the turn it suited him down to the ground.

I reckon he would have reraised on the flop with JJ-AA just to see where he was.

    77 = bigger boat

fold. all you beat here is a bluff, hes got a higher pair. although 1.2k is bit much for a value bet if hes looking for a caller

Hey fuzz, how often do you think villain could float this flop with the sb still in? What do you think his hand range is when he calls the flop?

    River looks like a fold.

I think I fold this river, you're not beating much except maybe 99, especially if villian is somewhat tight.

Well - a little subterfuge has taken place. I was the villain in this hand. I ascertained that the guy had a medium type pair, and I was absolutely spot on with my read. However he called, and defeated my AhQh.

For the record - I am well capable of calling on this flop with AA/KK/QQ/JJ, and the turn card is wonderful for those hands.

I couldnt believe he called the river ... such a waste of a read. Bah humbug.

So really this should be in the sticky at the top then? :D

Well - I think the discussion is reasonable ... no? Its not about the result, its about the hand.

I think it was resonable to call with the 10s. your play although strong had a underlying tone that you wanted him out where a better hand might have reraise on the turn to something like 350 to seem like you were interested in keeping him in the hand.

*Ahem*. For me this was the giveaway. It didn't feel right for a Fuzz hand.

The thing with this hand is the guy is a limper with balls and isn't afraid to play with a marginal hand all the way to the river as opposed to a weak pussy limper. My player notes would reflect this as I move on.

I personally would call here with TT just by the description and based on general internet aggressive players its a good way of putting a stop to aggressive plays being made on you to show you can find a call here against a good player. Against a weak player I'm more inclined to fold. Am I wrong?

I think you played the hand very well Fuzz and I think most players will be folding TT to that action.

I think he bet too much on the end

I dont like this hand at all. People dont fold full houses, and trying to get them to do so is -EV. Pushing quads is + EV

I think he should fold the river and maybe the turn.
