I really need to bring the Girlfrien away for the Bank holiday weekend, but would like to keep the costs reasonable. Any ideas?

Sorry matey but I'd say at this late stage you'll be paying through the roof for most places ...Day Trips are probably your best bet..
where are you located ? And are you Drivin ?

ring Bord Failte - we did that 3 years ago the day before a bank holiday weekend & got a nice self catering chalet in Waterford for the weekend - they just have to check on their pc what's available & where - saves you ringing around loads of places.
