keeping FTV card updated

    Hope someone can help me out here.......
    Until recently I had a sky+ box with irish sub and an old box with a FTV card.
    I now have multiroom with an extra sky+ box (ie I now have multiroom with 2 sky+ boxes connected to a quad dish) This means I can no longer use the box with the FTV card as all 4 links on the LNb are being used for the 2 sky+ boxes. I didn't really use the FTv card much anyway but it would be handy to have for the odd C4 programme. I know I can use the card with the sky+ boxes but the problem is if it's left out of the box for any period of time it can take ages for the card to reload??. As it would only be used for the odd programme this would be useless to me.
    Is there anyway I can connect the old sky box with the FTV card to eithe rof the sky plus box's just to keep the FTV card updated. Then if I want to watch a programme on C4 i can slot it into one of the sky+ boxes and it will work straight away.
