    i'm heading to galway at the end of may for my bday with the boyfriend. ive never been so haven't a clue about pubs clubs and restaurants?? also is there anything to do during the day that isn't sitting in the pub or walking around town. anything at all really.any suggestions??

    Apologies about that thread. Its not the best but a good starting point.....
    Theres a pretty good live music scene, the Roisin Dubh-link in post above, may have something good on. There are also a good few pubs/clubs mentioned in the thread and everyone has a favourite so I wont advise you which ones to go to.....
    Outside of the pub, theres a few potential places to go,
    The Town Hall Theatre, The Black Box, Think they are both online and depending on what weekend you are here the may be a play or something like that on.
    Heading out to Salthill for a look around, taking a spin out to spiddal to take in the scenery, depends on what you are into.
