Line Passes but not available - Access Telecom/Eircom problem

    Just had a phone from access telecom (getting bb from them for business reasons)telling me that the delay in accepting my order was the line is failing. However eircom website/netsource/esatbt etc. all say it passes (netsource says passed on 6/4/2006).

    Could this be due to the cabling in the house is old or stuff like that? Or down to the fact that we dont have an up to date master socket ? (if so is that a freebie from eircom?)


    Any help much appreciated.
