Dream rigs?

I'm wondering, is there a specific rig that people are striving for? Something tangible mind you, not a "What you'd buy if you won the Lotto" situation, rather something you can actually see yourself buying in the future.

For me, it used to be a Mesa Boogie Mark IV Head through a Road King 4x12, but since I played an Engl and was literally blown away, I've been striving towards getting an Engl Fireball and 2x12 V30 cab. Possibly in the future I'd get myself an Engl Invader and XXL cab. That would be sweet.

all i'd really like for now is to add this 4 x 10 cab to my ashdown ABM evo 300/ 1 x 15 combo. i cant see myself ever needing to upgrage from that tbh.

    but if you twisted my arm i'd take a mesa/boogie M-2000 and a 6x10 + 1x18 cabs off your hands:D

Well, maybe that custom Jackson, with the Les Paul as a backup, through a JCM800 2203 and a Fender Twin, using a splitter box. Pedals and such are kinda irrelevant to be honest, whatever works or is wanted. *shrug* That'd be a ncie basic setup anyway.

Ideally in the next few months Id love to get a Roland Jazz chorus for cleans (esp with the piezo's on the Ibanez) and a new high gain head, prob an Engl again or a Laney for distortion/lead. I can see myself flying over to London very soon for an amp shopping holiday! :D

I'd add a 2x10 cab to my bass rig and that's about it, I'm sorted otherwise :D

definatly a jc120 and maybe an ENGL powerball or H&k trilogy with a custom 2x12 (2x12 is enough to gig here imo).

i'd have to say a JEM and a custom 22 as 2 guitars i'd love.

effects and that would be just

a boss ch-1 or maybe 2 of them

    a keeley tubescreamer

whammy and a few other bits and bobs

In the future I'd like to keep my Ashdown combo for certain tones but also have a nice Orange or Matamp head with a 4x10 (or even 4x12 considering I'd be playing downtuned) for some all out amplifier worship.

I'm happy enough with my Blues Deluxe at the moment, but if you were to throw a Bassman at me I certainly wouldnt say no. I'd probably say "Jesuschristmindmelegs" but that's beside the point.
Course I wouldn't mind going smaller either, there's a cool new Tweed Blues Junior our. Very hip looking.

I know that I will be getting a Gretsch 6120-60 soon enough, so that'd satisfy me immensely.

    My dream guitar rig:
paul reed smith dragon 2002, through a framous cobra head and cab and a peavy 5150 with a caparison christopher ammot as my backup guitar.

Dream Bass rig: Warwick Thumb 5 string 1 piece through either an ashdown EVO 2 head and cab or an ampeg svt 3 pro head and cab with a DBX 160 compresser.-- Basicly ryan from mudvaynes rig.

I sweet talked the "irish" salesman in Detroit and got it for 400 Euro. Try getting it for that price anywhere else! or just try getting it! its a tough find

Realistically I can see myself buying some kind of Tele style guitar (probably a G&L Bluesboy ASAT) and a small bass rig (G&L L2000 and a reasonablly sized combo amp). Maybe throw in a boutique pedal or two.

I'm pretty happy with my setup now to be honest.

though I wouldn't say no to a nice strat, something with the vintage style bridge, custom colour nitro and 3 low output single coils. AV62 or EJ sig... the AV57 doesn't appeal to me, i don't think i'd like the v shaped neck, and i'm no sunburst fan in general...though a 2 tone burst is ok.

I'd also like a low powered clean sounding amp...fendery cleans...but all that is just a vague wanting for stuff, i have no real need for it.

I'm extremely happy with my set up atm.(Laney/ENGL)
Since I'm pretty much only use straight clean/distortion.
I only want/need 1 or two channel amps.

So by this time next year I plan on buying a Marshall Plexi,Framus Cobra and a Peavy 5150.

For me it's about collecting amps rather than guitars and now that my dream guitar is on it's way(Ivory Jackson RR) I don't see my self buying any other guitars in the near future.
