I was looking to get a wireless router with 4 ethernet points I was pretty sure they were about €60 when I went to look they all seemd to €100 or there about. Not only that there seems to be an awful lot of other wirelss things that seem massively unnesseray. Am I just out of it in terms of extra functionality being added or have they gone up in price?

If anybody has recommended router that would be nice

    Not sure about that.....
What model were you looking at a few months ago? Are you sure it's the exact same one now in the same shop that has gone up?

I think the linksys wrt54G is the model that would suit most needs. I think I spent 70/80 yoyo on it a year ago in PC world-dont even know if they do that now or what the price is.
I had thought that prices hadnt gone up but I havent been in the market for a while....

You'd get one without a built in dsl modem for about €60. Expect to pay 90-100 for one with the modem built in.

PC World have Linksys WRT54G and a wireless USB Adapter for 80e currently. WRT54G is prob the best wireless router out there. Top quality.
