Strange, as i'm sure that IF ECW does start back up they will want him.

Leads me to believe that the ECW re-start is nothing more than a brand change with absolutely no independace at all.

    Shame.

WWE is the parent company. All the contracts will be with WWE. ECW went out of business owing a lot of money, so there won't be too many people willing to deal with anyone other than the parent company when negotiating any new ECW contracts.

Really does point to a return for ECW, hard to see Sabu involved in any match that wasn't hardcore

Yeah, most of his TNA matches were ECW style. I'd say this is the first of a list of old ECW signings. I'd doubt the dudleys would come back though.

No the Dudleys and Rhyno wont be back. I hope they get the likes of Justin Credible, Lance Storm, Sandman, Mikey and maybe Juventud back. I would LOVE to see Corino involved but its doubtful. After that just get in new talent.

it'd make you wonder if they're going to mix the two brands, raw and smackdown into raw and then extract all those suitable for ECW, because a full time ecw show could sound the death bell to one of the other two shows, as it is i find it hard to find time to watch both, i'm sure most people do, the last thing we need is another reminder on the sky+ (i'd be sad to see smackdown go, can't say as much for coRAWnation street though)

Just saw this on the main page, haven't read anything more than the first post in case anyone's given away any TNA Lockdown spoilers!

I suppose this has got to do with ECW comin back. Otherwise I would have said it seems like a strange idea to bring in Sabu. He can't have many more years left, can he?

if they do bring ECW back its just going to be and addition to smackdown and Raw I think. just a little more vicious
