Memory is not my strong point when it comes to computers so all help appreciated.

    Thanks

Any chance of stretching that €110 to €140?

But as i only have value ram will this make much of a difference or will the value ram hold it back.
And do I need 2 gigs for gaming.
To tell the truth I cant really afford 140 but will it make enough of a difference to be worth it

Low latency RAM although nice to have doesn't really make a huge difference in most applications.

If you really feel you need the 2GB go for it, now not all games/apps may benefit a lot but certainly the more RAM the better is something the holds true for the operating system and all applications that run under it.

The only game I've ever heard of that really likes 2GB of system RAM is Battlefield 2.
