    Hi All,
I was thinking of starting a judo club in the south Dublin area? I am a qualified Judo Coach with the British Judo Assciation and I am in the process of having the qualification recognised by the Irish Judo Association.

I have experince of running a sucessful Judo club in the UK, and have trained both Junior and Senior players to medal sucesses.
I have competed at Junior, Senior and Veteran level to National standard.

I was wondering if their is any interest from anyone wanting to start judo or from kyu grades who want to improve their judo or techniqes.. or just keep fit

Alternatively anyone who wants to cross train and is looking for the grappling aspect of judo.

What do you guys think? Let me know

    Cheers

    Brian

I'm in Dun Laoghaire, and would be interested in taking a look. Any of those locations you mentioned would be convenient...

I will kept you all posted and let you guys know when and where?
However we need a little more interest first before start up a club as it wont last long with only a few members

Yeah , it will be hard to drum up interest just on the board, you'll need the club itself to attract people with!

Excellent!Usually when people say "Southside" I get my hopes up for something local and it turns out they mean places like Tallaght.:D
The areas you mentioned would be perfect for me and I'd certainly be interested. Total novice in that kind of discipline though, so , as Dragan says, you'd have your work cut out for ya!

best you put up a flyer in the gym you are holding the training at. leave your mobile and ask people who are interested to contact you.

    Hi All,
As you all know the Junior side of Judo will keep the club running. I will be targeting all the schools in the area for new members.

The senior side of the club, when developed will just be a bonus.
The club may not start until September due to the kids being on the holidays
    soon.

So guys and girls when the club start how hard do you want the sessions to be :D

Has anyone done judo before or other arts

    Cheers

    B
