    :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: Im going mental here my xbox started crashing last night and i was like **** sake dont tell me i have to wait another 3 weeks for another xbox so i turned it off for about 2 hours. turned it on again after 2 hours again and it was fine for about an hour and then started crashing again. So i came back from school turned on the xbox and 3 red lights showed up on the ring of light. So i rang costumer care and gave them a mouth full. They said Ill be getting a new xbox soon and [COMPENSATION]so thats no to bad.

    Very unlucky man, REALLY unlucky actually, abnormal even :eek: you sure your not playing it 24/7, and its not sitting under vcr/dvd player/tv/amp etc??

    man thats so unlucky, hope you have better luck with the next one.

    i have a launch day 360 here and so far so good but i have a lot of xbox live friends that have had to get a replacment or two :( .

    We had a thread on this before, most people including myself don't trust standing it that way, I leave mine horizontal, cuz my ps2 got messed up after having it vertical for to long!

    that's brutal, hope they give you a good few freebies to make up for it.

    Do you have the customer care number handy cos I need to ring them cos mine has to be turned on then off then back on before the poxy thing works.

    I'm waiting on them to get back to me for the last 2 weeks. I'm purposely delaying it to see how incompetent they are. I haven't even played my 360 really in between the time I called and up until now for fear of doing more damage to my games. I'll update my progress as this will be number 3 for me too.
