Okay so we're jus getting over the last long weekend which was pretty long i must say and its nearly time for another one! Jebus! So with another long weekend brings more excuses to have lots of big parties! Nice one ay! So what to do what to do? That is the question! Well heres jus two of many options that will make your weekend a much better one...

This may bank holiday weekend sees new clubnight on the block Acii Disco make its return. After what has been a great start to a great night in The Cavern, Store st, with almost 5 months under its belt and a plethora of great local and international guests including one Abe Duque its time now to wave goodbye to the venue as Acii Disco moves on to bigger and better in Dublin’s Hub venue in the heart of Temple Bar.

With the night really picking up momentum in previous weeks and with parties always going off from the get go it will mean a much welcomed return to the now weekly Saturday club night. The overall policy will be more of the same offering a mix of all things good not gay House, sleazy up front Electro and dirty sounding bad ass make you wet your pants and say hell yeah Acid House.

With a much bigger venue and the ability to cater for a larger but yet still quite intimate crowd of 300 plus, Acii Disco now hopes to play host to many more international guests over coming months plus regular appearances from Irelands finest DJs and Live acts and Club nights. Resident DJ and Promoter of the night Al Keegan will oversee weekly proceedings and will be joined by Charlie Doran providing visuals.

The re-launch of the night is on Saturday the 29th of April at The Hub on Eustace street, Temple bar (opposite the IFI). Djs on the night include Diggers, Jonathon woods and resident Al Keegan. Doors open at 11pm. Admission will be e10 on regular nights.

Being such good people though, guest list for the launch night is available for all on request.
Simply mail: acdisco@gmail.com for lots of freebies!

The following day Sunday April 30th Mixed Salad hosts the second of this years Mc Gruders Parties. After The success of Paddys day with two quality rooms of music and more than 500 in attendance, the place pretty much rocking from the get go another great day is pretty much guaranteed. Music as always will start early, food will be available throughout the day, music will be run again over two floors with another great line up of Djs and 3 great Live acts for your listening pleasure.

The line up goes like this -

    Garden / Conservatory

    Al Keegan
    Will Kinsella
    Steve Mc Carroll
    Al Redmond
    Romo
    Steve Jones
    Gav Feeny
