shockwave alternative?

    Anyone know of a shockwave alternative for linux? or even if macromedia are planning on releasing a linux frindly version?

    As far as i know Macromedia have no plans of releaseing Shockwave for any Unix, it's miracle we even have flash working on Linux/Solaris/whatever, though it doesn't play nice with 64bit systems (next version supposedly)

    Gnash - I haven't tried it yet though. Have a go, and let us know how/if it works.

    thanks for the info guys, @ tomk i have looked at gnash but not had any success with it, was an early release so might be worth having another look at it.
