It started about a week ago with a sore throat. Then her jaw became stiff so that eating was a little difficult. She also had a headache like "a tight band around the head".

Now the stiffness is a little better but her face is swollen and she has neuralgia type pain in the head also.

I'd really appreciate if anyone who has come across this sort of thing could offer some info or advice.
