I'm going to France in June for a few weeks, can somebody please tell me how I'll be able to check my email over there? What do I have to buy for the laptop to be able to get internet access in France? Somebody please help! :)

Where in France are you going to?

In Paris there are a lot of free wifi places including every McDo restaurant.

If you have a telephone line you can plug in then dial

0860922000 and use 'free' as login and password to access standard 56k dialup.

You might have free wireless if you are going to a hotel which they would probably provide a free bridge if you needed one. Have you got a wireless nic in your laptop?
