Some of the events look like fun.

    http://www.tcd.ie/collegehealthweek/sportsweek/
    Tuesday 25th

    * 2pm Ultimate Frisbee Colours match Rugby Pitch
    * 12– 2pm Basketball Club, shoot hoops competition. Physics Square
    * 12–4pm Boxing club Skipathon Top of broadwalk

Where in college is the broadwalk? I think watching fit boxers skip could be a worthwhile break from studying, and if they've a collection bucket for the defribillators, well, then it's all for a good cause.

I think it's the long pathway between the cricket and rugby pitches (i.e. from the east wall of the Berkeley library to the zebra crossing near the Physics (old) building). But I'm open to correction.

With apologies to fans of the original, and anyone with good taste:
Oh, when the sun beats down, you feel like lyin' around, it's the truth
And you said 'in the library by ten', but you're here again, so what's new?
Along the broadwalk, down by the Pav, yeah
Eating chips with beer, that's where I'm gonna be..this year.

(Along the broadwalk) outside the Pav
(Along the broadwalk) we'll be havin' some fun
(Along the broadwalk) chucking cans around
(Along the broadwalk) we'll be repeating again
    Along the broad-walk (broad-walk!)

Seems Like a Great idea to raise money for these defribillators.

I just looked into how much they cost...

It's a secret beach. With a broadwalk. That's going to have boxers skipping on it.

I told you that. I even (re)wrote you a song about it. But (sniff) it wasn't official until you heard it from him. Bah.

I'm sorry, i was blinded and confused by the standard of your song, and the message was lost in the transmission.

Anyway, the boxers were very, very fit - it was kind of mesmerising to watch them skip.

Ultimate frisbee was interesting to watch yesterday, the UF club had thoughtfully handed out little print outs of the rules so what was happening on the pitch made sense. Does anyone know who won the coulours in the end?

They were giving free fruity water away in the Student Health Services building (or at least I think they were free :D ).

There's also free bendy pencils and t-shirts in the Arts block if you get your carbon monoxide levels tested (takes a few seconds blowing into a machine), think the stand is there fromn 12-3pm every day.

TCD did. Womens was won 10-9, Open was won (to the best of my knowledge) 13-5. So a double victory - woo!

For the sake of veracity i'm going to deny that i am having (or havving) an affair with anyone.

    Back on topic/

the rugby yesterday looked painful, the ground was so hard that whenever players went down they'd sort of skid along the surface, putting up clouds of dust and getting nasty looking grazes.
