I dont think play ship hardware to Ireland...they didnt up to a few months agao AFAIK.....

I wouldnt go by XE.com all anyways as play (if they do send to Ireland) will have their own special euro price that is guaranteed to be higher in or around 7-10 % so as they dont lose on the exchange rate

Exact same TV on pixmainia for €750 + del.

What's up with your dell? (which is a 1280*768 btw)

    nothing wrong with my dell

but i taught that 1366x768 is better than 1280*768 ?
also will my dell tv be ready for sky hd ?

1366*768 just gives you "proper" 16:9 WS (as would 1280*720)...since the 360 outputs in 720p the sigal will display on both adequately, but on the dell you'll have black bands of 24 pixels top and bottom...I don't think this happens on 1366*768 sets.

As for Sky HD couldn't tell ya...I only know that when I try and run any full screen video source through DVI on the w2600, the image tears, and I assume that you'll need to hook the SHD box up through the DVI (or maybe component? I don't really know)

As far as I'm concerned only VGA and component do the w2600 justice...everything else is washed out looking, blurred and can smear in dark images.

    Slightly OT, quick question...

I'm in the market for a flat screen TV but I don't have Sky or NTL digital, just the basic NTL cable. Is there anything specific, tuner-wise, that I need to look for? I got a portable from Argos a few years ago that wouldn't tune any stations. Turned out it was made for the english market and the tuner didn't cover the necessary bands to pick up our stations. Are newer LCDs more universally equipped?
